Do you think that any of the following apply to you?

1) Were you bored in school, not because it was hard but due to you not feeling challenged enough?
2) Do you not like to be told what to do by a “boss” figure?
3) Do you like to be in control of your own future, and feel more secure when you are in charge?
4) Are you not exactly a 9-5 type of person, and prefer to make your own hours?
5) Do you want to earn more than you could from most of the jobs that are offered to you?

No, I am not psychic – I just know enough about myself and have researched enough about others to know what makes a good entrepreneur. I also have been fortunate enough to have visited and talked to countless people across the nation, and even in other nations. What I have found is that no matter where you go, people are basically the same. They want to be secure, provide the best possible life for their families, and be rewarded for their efforts. Whenever these factors are not present, they are unhappy and do not operate well in their lives. Sometimes in life, the doors to these items are obstructed, and there are few readily available solutions. That is why you may have to create your own opportunities, and the entrepreneurial model is a great blueprint.

As an entrepreneur, you have the ability to create your own earning potential, hours, and work to fulfill your purpose in life. I want you to know that it will not be easy, though. But, the alternative is much harder: a life defined by someone else’s decisions about when you get a raise, get promoted, or even have a job the next day. I for one will always choose to be a person of my own will, rather than be subject to the will of others. Life in general is not easy – we have already established that. Becoming an entrepreneur can be seen as just another part of life. For some, the path is to find a job – for you it may be to become an entrepreneur.

Johnathan Green continues to send invitations for online dating events, so I am blocking him. Members beware. I appears spammers have invaded this group, too.

I have been self employed on and off for the past 10 years. I now have a 9-5 part time job working on a product I love, helping small businesses grow, and I also have my full time passion, my personal development business which I am now building.
My passion has enabled me to be in the position to choose who to work for. I hope to help others to be in this priceless position too.

I am looking forward to learning from all of you.

great to meet like minded people. I also don't care to nor want to work for anyone - BUT ME!! I'm hoping to learn many things from those who are where I want to be.

I have been self employed since I left the Navy in '89. I've had a half a dozen jobs that lasted less than six months each. I've owned a couple of businesses, but my thing is real estate. We buy repos to rent or flip. Making a move to Galveston Tx, finally, to clean up the hurricane damage.

Leonard,

Great Ad.

Is this what we want to do on this site, place ads? I could add some links to my affiliate partners, but I don't think that's what this site should be all about.

Just my thoughts.
Good Luck Leonard.
