I've had enough....time for plan B?

So here's the thing; all we seem to be speaking about is hard times and government bail outs and banks in trouble and small businesses being crushed.......I have had clients close down and not have budgets, put off sale and the like...I care for my clients and I am really sorry for their hard times (and I mean that) and yes, also because this has had an impact on my income....I will earn less this year from my sales, no doubt - of which my good lady has made me aware!

Well, this Salesman has had enough!

I am tired of having to rely on the man for my money...don't get me wrong, I have a successful career and am very happy were I am (honestly) but I have been reading lately 2 books that have influenced me in a big way - Rich Dad Poor Dad and The Four Hour Work Week....neither need too much introduction.

So what am I going to do? Well, in hard times entrepreneurs come to the fore and seize opportunities, I want to have a slice of a BIGGER pie, a GLOBAL pie.

I want to be able to use my skills as a sales person and make my own money, even when the budgets of the businesses in my assigned territory and those of my team are feeling the squeeze, I will have the world at my feet.

I have recently aquired a great eBook on effective list building that I have found incredibly interesting. So much so I signed up for the (now closed) coaching program.

You will find the blog to be a hype free area - I hate that and frankly am quite sick of being feed the 'next best thing' - so that is why I have decided to reveal all (sorry for the hype word, but reveal is the only thing I could think of) on my blog and you come and laugh cry rejoice and poke fun at me if you want- but hopefully you will find me building an online business that will allow me to live where I want and how I want - for real!

It too am sick of all the over-hyped internet marketing offers, from people who make totally false claims about their income.

Thanks so much for the reply and glad you feel the same, I think what I want is what you have - loved your Legend Interviews by the way, excellent stuff and very inspirational.

I would be honoured of you would leave a comment on my blog (it will make all the other students jealous and make my blog teh blog of the stars;-)
